ANA IACCARINO this Friday March 9th 7p-10p

Come out for this months Live on the Plaza and see some of the newest pieces we have in from artist Ana Iaccarino. Ana is a recent Iowa transplant here in OKC and we absolutely love her work and her. Many of her pieces are minimal in the number of colors used yet each one somehow comes out feeling deeply saturated in color. I love her whimsical yet dark characters that she brings out in each piece as you can just imagine this crazy imaginative world they all come from yet when you look at them a little more you find out they kinda look like someone you might know. Anyway come on by and check them out yourself and hopefully get a chance to meet Ana.

THANKS!

Underground Monster Carnival was AWESOME! Thanks so much to everyone who came out to support it and we can't wait til next year! whoohoo

call to artists....

Do you make creepy fabulous art or indie crafts that are either horror, monster, creepy carnival, or side show themed?? We are sponsoring two opportunities for an artist like you to show off your goods!

first--- Underground Monster Carnival--- this is a monster/sci-fi/horror etc themed convention and show promoting authors, filmmakers, artists , and performers of the same genres. This is an all day show and has lots of great traffic of folks shopping for this type of art, apparel, and indie craft goods. A display table to sell your wares is only $80. Go to undergroundmonstercarnival.webs.com to find out more.

second--- Parlour-- This is a one night only group art installation that will interactive and be as part of the Plaza District's new quarterly art stroll called Plaza Art Quarterly and the first one will happen Thursday March 22nd.
The theme is inspired by a mixture of DaDa style art, old parlour games, sideshow freaks, and dark carnivals. If you have and idea and think this might be something you would be interested in then contact Stephanie @ Dig It  or email digitokc@gmail.com .

Thanks
